We often focus on giving candidates feedback.
But what about the feedback we receive – as recruiters?
Recently, a few candidates shared how positively they experienced our recruitment process at omniIT. One was surprised (in a good way!) by the openness, flexibility, and conversational tone of the interview. It felt natural, not scripted – and that made all the difference for her.
Another candidate, even after the recruitment was paused, reached out to say the process felt professional, human, and left a strong impression.
That kind of feedback means a lot.
It tells us that our unique style – one that’s a little less “typical HR” – is not only noticed, but appreciated. And it helps us attract the kind of people who fit our culture and mindset.
I know our style isn’t for everyone – and that’s totally fine. But when it clicks, it really clicks. And that’s how we know we’re on the right path.
To any recruiters out there: keep collecting feedback. Not just from your hiring managers, but from the candidates too.
Sometimes the biggest insights come from the ones who didn’t get the job – but felt seen, heard, and respected anyway. 👇
