Rethinking Benefits: What Our Team Really Wants

As summer winds down, businesses often pick up the pace, and it’s the perfect moment to reassess our employee benefits. With our team spread across Poland and Germany, it's essential to consider how we can offer perks that truly resonate with everyone.

The question at hand is: What benefits do our colleagues actually want? The market is brimming with ideas, but what are the real benefits that would make a difference? It’s a challenging topic, especially when our team members are located in different countries with unique needs and preferences.

Offering the same benefits to everyone may not be feasible. This isn’t just about dealing with formalities; it’s about understanding that living in different countries means having distinct needs. For instance, what works for someone in Poland might not be as relevant for someone in Germany, and vice versa.

In my view, while health benefits and general perks are a standard starting point, there’s more to consider. I’ve already shared some ideas internally and created a survey to gather information on what would be genuinely valuable to our team. It’s clear that for our remote colleagues, “Fruit Thursdays” might not be the most enticing perk.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Are there any universal benefits that could be offered to everyone, regardless of their location? Let’s find a way to ensure our benefits package is meaningful and relevant for all our team members.
